A CertiReport licence entitles a number of active SAP Business One companies on one CertiReport server. Editions differ in the number of companies and the support agreement, never in capability: certified PDFs, Crystal Reports, every delivery channel and the API are in all of them.

How licensing works
A signed key for your server, activated in a minute
- Install CertiReport. Administration › License shows the Hardware ID of the server and prepares a licence request with the host, the version and the number of companies you want.
- Copy the request or press E-mail request to send it to CERTICONS. You receive a
.lickey file issued for that Hardware ID, your edition and the number of companies. - Paste the key under Activate a licence. Check verifies it without installing; Activate installs it. Headless:
CertiReport.Portal.exe license --file CertiReport-License.lic, orPOST /api/v1/license. The key is verified offline; no internet connection is needed. - Thirty days before the end a banner appears above every page and the failure-alert addresses are mailed at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days. A renewed key replaces the current one without reinstallation.
- Reinstalled Windows or renamed the server? The Hardware ID changes; ask for a reissue.

| What counts as a company? | Each SAP Business One company with Active switched on in CertiReport. Deactivating a company frees its slot; a test company counts like a live one while it is active. |
| Is there a trial? | No trial mode. Without a licence CertiReport installs, users sign in, design reports, import starters and prepare schedules, but no company can be added and no report runs. A demo on your company is a call away. |
| What happens when the licence expires? | A grace period keeps everything running; afterwards no company can be added or reactivated and every run is refused with a "Licence:" message in run history. Reports, schedules, history and files stay untouched. |
| More companies than licensed? | The first companies by creation are covered; the rest are badged Unlicensed on the Companies page and their runs are refused until the licence is extended or a company is deactivated. |
| Need more companies later? | Order the difference; a new key for the higher count replaces the current one on the same server. |
| Updates? | All releases during the licence period, installed by running the new setup over the existing installation. Database, settings, licence and files are kept. |
